New Zealand Movers is proud to have supported the lead-up to the opening of One New Zealand Stadium, Christchurch’s highly anticipated new stadium and one of the city’s most significant rebuild projects.

Set to become a major hub for sport, entertainment, and community events, One New Zealand Stadium marks an exciting new chapter for Christchurch. This state-of-the-art venue is designed to host sporting fixtures, concerts, and large-scale events helping to revitalise the city centre, and deliver economic and social benefits for the Canterbury region.

In the lead-up to the official opening in April 2026, our New Zealand Movers team received into store and delivered a total of 185 cubic metres of goods to One New Zealand Stadium.

We carefully handled and delivered more than 50 different products, including furniture, appliances, medical equipment, safety gear, cleaning equipment and even a trailer. Every delivery required precision, coordination, and care to ensure items arrived on time and ready for use.

This is the inaugural year in New Zealand however it has been held in Australia and Canada. The event continues to grow year on year, uniting communities through generosity, compassion, and shared spirit.
