Toitū Envirocare’s Carbon Reduce programme is New Zealand’s leading climate certification. To earn this certification, we underwent an extensive audit post 16 months of data gathering, of our operations across all four locations – Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin. This comprehensive review covered everything from fuel usage and electricity consumption to packing materials and waste management.
The outcome? We now have a clear understanding of our carbon footprint and a verified plan to reduce it. We’re now committed to annual reporting, ensuring that we continue to monitor, improve, and reduce emissions year after year.
